Jennifer, I've been using Golden High Flow Acrylic in empty Montana paint pens. I have to go over the white a couple of times to make it opaque, but I love being able to draw with acrylic paint.
Jennifer, Montana sells their own line of acrylic paint markers, but I had bought some of the Golden High Flow and then found out that it could be used in refillable paint markers, and Montana sells empty markers. So, I'm not certain about the Montana paint.

Which brand of paint pens are you finding best results with. Just discovered the oil based ones

I've never heard of the Montana paint pens. I will certainly check it out since I enjoy the look of this
