It's the last day of 2012, but I'm in the studio working on a new project for 2013. This is a glimpse into my journal as I generate ideas.

I just picked up your new book and love it! BTW, I also like your journal page with the ink doodle...what kind of ink did you use? Also, if I may ask, do you suggest a particular watercolor brand? I am not really happy with the results I am getting with the ones I am using. Thanks!
Jenny, I use uniball Vision pens for most of the ink work in my journal. I get the ones that say fadeproof/waterproof. As for watercolor, I mostly use Prang semi-moist paint. Some people feel it's a little kid's paint, but the colors are vibrant, it's inexpensive, and lasts a long time.
Hi again! Another question for you...I believe your second book (perhaps I am mistaken), says you use 70lb paper in your Cachet journal? If so, how do you prevent a lot of wrinkling and curling of the pages when you use watercolor? I am not used to using 70lb, but heavier paper. Any suggestions? Thanks!
